Speaking of software synths, I use the following:

1. NI FM8
2. NI Battery 3
3. Fruity Loops 7
4. Korg Legacy Collection Digital

I even used the Korg one time in a gig, and it worked very well.

Don't know if anyone has tried it but Pianoteq has an AWESOME sampled piano, not only can you witch effects etc. but you can tune almost everything like you would be able to on a real grand piano

well... pianoteq have NO samples inside is full physical modelling

update: Kore 2 with Komplete and guitar rig controller, Trilogy, Kick ass Brass, real guitar and real strat ( my dream is Prominy SC)
