Here's what I got with few free vst plugins and after couple hours of work:

Nothing too fancy, but a decent lead I guess.

Wonderfull Forum... THAT WORKS!!

My lead got like that...

I'd like some variations of this LEAD, something like Henrik or Mikko , both from Sonata Arctica or ?Janne Warman, from Children of Bodom....

I was told that the Two Firsts use same configs than Jens...but Different Distortion generators... the last I donno.

Thaks

Henrik and Mikko use a Boss Overdrive (OD-1). Warman uses a Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi (USA version).

The Big Muff Pi yes but the OD-1 no. It was replaced with the OD-2 then that was replaced by the OD-3 which is what is on the market today. You can get the OD-1 on ebay though. I personally use the Boss SuperOverdrive pedal, I find it to be the perfect mix of overdrive with a very little bit of distortion.

Thnks for anwering...

Well...the biggest question in my head is....

Why do they use Pedals if theys Keyboards has Distortion and Overdrive effects available??

Well...I've got a Roland JunoG and have nice results with my try outs and experimentations, but no perfection!!

...maybe The Pedals is The Secret!! Is It??

Thank ya!!

True most keyboards today have effects in them but they arnt very good with the distortion and overdrive most of the time. Also there are some distortion effects that you simply wont find on any keyboard like the Fuzz effect the Big Muff Pi makes, certain quality's that you can only get from certain pedals. Thats why I got a Boss GT-8 it almost perfectly emulates all the most famous Distortions and Overdrives and gives me the option to customize my own, This gives me the ability to create or emulate any distortion or overdrive I want. They have the OD-1, OD-2, and Big Muff Pi on the GT-8 and they sound exactly like the real thing.

But to answer your question in short, yes the pedal is what morphs in the sound drastically to get what you hear.

how could i set up this into my korg karma im building the patch and im really lost about filters
how can set this in my karma:

1"Go into your synth filter section and choose a Bandpass filter. ( For this I selected in FLT1 >Basic > Type: Low Pass & High Pass)

2"Choose a CutOff around 130/200Hz and set, if you can, Velocity as modulator for CutOff. If you can't set it, choose an LFO as modulator. Use it very softly".

i dont have a clue about the second point x) i hope someone can help me with this, im actually reading the Parameter Guide of the instrument but I hope some korg triton/le/karma user can help me with something ! (:

till this moment i have never done a patch from a multisample, just combis mixing programs x)
